Tachia Toastmasters Club (TCTC) was officially chartered on July 14, 2000. Up to April 2008 we have 29 active members in our club. The membership of TCTC is opened to all walks of life who share the same interests with us of honing communication and leadership skills. The whole process of our meeting is running in English. Learning better English is just a part of the benefits to join our club. The more important is we can help you become a better speaker and leader through the educational program conducted by Toastmasters Head Quarter. Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation. Don't worry! Everyone in a Toastmasters club was once at the level you are now. The environment is friendly and supportive, and the self-paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. And you'll love the applause! Constructive evaluation is the heart of the Toastmasters program. Each time you give a prepared speech, an evaluator will point out strengths and suggest improvements. At first you'll be applauded for your effort; later you'll be applauded for your skill.
不要太擔心，每個演講會的會員在剛加入時程度都跟您ㄧ樣，這裡的環境友善與支持，這裡的學習進度自我訂定，目的就是要讓您能夠對每個指定的演講計劃建立起自信，相信您會愛上這響起的掌聲。建設性講評是整個演講會計劃的核心，每次當您做完一篇有備演講時，我們都會指派ㄧ位講評員來講評您的優點及建議可以改進的地方。在一開始時您會因為您的努力而獲得大家的掌聲，但到了後來您將會因為您的技巧而獲得大家的掌聲。
